My Piece I Give You

As a kid, I remember spending time with my grandmother assembling giant jigsaw puzzles. There were so many tiny pieces! Each one had a portion of the image (usually a nature scene) which was required to complete the puzzle. Although times have changed, my kids have had a similar experience. With my husband's help, they each assembled a 3D globe puzzle with 540 pieces! Each piece had a purpose and a position in the making of "the world."
Similar to puzzle pieces, we each have a purpose and a position which contributes to a bigger picture. You are not independent of anyone else. Your reason for existence coincides with others. You have a piece of the picture that no one else has. Your strengths, your ideas, your experiences are part of what you offer to the grand scheme. But you also need others to help complete the full image. The strengths of others can help compensate for your weaknesses, flaws, and shortcomings. This is why positioning is crucial. Puzzles come together when one piece has what the other lacks. The picture becomes clearer once the individual pieces get in position and willingly accept what the other brings to the table.
Someone's picture is incomplete without you. That's how vital you are! What you have to offer is important.
Don't underestimate the value of those around you. You may need what they have to make the picture in your life complete.
Question: Do you seek to incorporate the strengths of others in areas where you are weak?
